Testimonials
My name is Judy Juzefyk and my daughter has been studying under Mr. Price since 1997 and is still going strong.

This program is a complete package teaching self-defense, self-control, and self-respect. Contrary to what many people think, you are taught to diffuse potentially dangerous situations first with your wits rather than your fists. That is what I like best about the program. The children gain self-confidence without developing a false sense of security. They are taught not to be the aggressor even though they are learning a physical skill.

On top of all that, this program is always reinforcing the importance of respect and helping one another. I know the program works because I have seen the changes in the children; it's something that comes from within. Because I think so highly of this school, its instructors and the system it teaches I started taking the adult classes in 2000.

I can tell you from my experience thus far that anyone of any age, and fitness level can participate and enjoy the classes. I have already been told from several people that they see a big difference in my demeanor and I know I feel better about myself. All that is asked of you is that you try your best. Not only do I believe in what I'm saying, I'm doing it.

My name is Ray Dobisesky. I have been studying Ed Parker's American Kenpo Karate with Mr. Brian Price since July of 1998.

I had enrolled my son Jake in the fall of 1997 in the Dragons class. After almost a year of observing the system and at the urging of the instructors, I took the plunge and started my journey in Kenpo. I had recently passed the ½ century mark and was overweight so the first reality was that I needed to lose the proverbial 10-12 pounds.

Well, to make a long story short, studying American Kenpo was my catalyst to lose 40 pounds over the next 2 years and keep it off!

The system lends itself to capitalize on a person's strengths and has been a great confidence builder for dealing with the stress and hazards of the modern world.

I have recently completed the requirements for my Green Belt and starting on 3rd Brown Material. My son is on the adult level and well on his way to attaining his 2nd Brown Belt. American Kenpo training is providing a unique and valuable opportunity for us to learn and experience a common worthwhile activity as father and son and also as peers in the process.

In conclusion, one of my co-worker's responses was that I was crazy to start "that karate stuff" at my age.

Well, I am proving to myself every day that I am definitely crazy, "CRAZY LIKE A FOX!"
